3 Season Cut & Come Again Garden

And Grow Food Year Round.

What is a 3 Season Cut & Come Again Garden?

A 3 Season Garden is where you plant once in late summer or early fall and harvest food for the next three seasons - Fall, Winter & Spring - and no, it's not too late.

Cut & Come Again is a harvest technique where you harvest the outer leaves of your leafy greens and let them regenerate until your next harvest. The idea is you plant enough of your favorite varieties, that you can move through the garden bed as the previously harvested plants grow back. But it's not just Cut & Come Again varieties...

There are Cut & Come Again, Multi-Harvest and One & Done Vegetables that can be planted in a 3 Season Garden.

There are over 40 different Cold Hardy Vegetables & Herbs you can grow. That doesn't include the hundreds of different varieties for those veg types.

Getting your plants to near maturity before your first frost and before you start losing 10 hours of daily sunlight are key to a successful 3 Season Garden

More questions?

I've got answers & an easy path to follow.

How do I know this will work in my cold climate? Yes, this will work in any USDA Zone. Upper Maine to Southern California and any place in between.

How much soil prep needs to be done? Whether you're breaking new ground, or re-amending your summer garden soil. It's easy to do and gets your garden off to the right start. Healthy Vibrant Soil = Tasty Veg!

Can I direct sow or use transplants? Both. You can direct sow quicker growing crops and start transplants indoors for slower growing crops like cabbage and broccoli. A lot will depend on your climate and location, but I've got just the tips to walk you through it!

How do I protect my garden from frost or even a hard freeze? Low tunnels. They are simple and inexpensive to put up and maintain and they can change your USDA Zones up to 3 Zones warmer. That means if you are growing in Maine, with a double layer of low tunnel coverage you'll effectively be growing in the Carolina's or Georgia. That's amazing!

Complete beginner or experienced gardener? Yes, any level of gardener can do this. There are lost skill sets that can be taught and mastered by taking this course.

Will maintating my 3 Season Garden take a lot of time? No, in fact a 3 Season Garden will be one of the easier gardens you've ever had. Low pest & disease issues and planting just once and being able to harvest till spring makes it an easy garden to maintain and worth it.
